Rusty, I have been listening to you for around 10 years and you do a great job and have an awesome voice, but man, I am sick of hearing about the stupid stuff that people do in this country, people come together, if you are out and about and you see anyone doing anything suspicious take a picture take a video get a license plate you can to get a little information, the stupid stuff needs to stop🇺🇸👍

It must be hard in some ways to live in areas where wild fires can happen. Hopefully everyone stays safe.

I think the fires have gotten a lot worse and oregano often.

I would like to see a study of how many large wildfires there were before 2014 on the west coast. It seems to me the number has risen drastically and I think the cause is arson.

See the pattern? Someone starts a fire. Causes hundreds of millions in damage. "We need a billion for assistance". But this money never goes to preventing the next fires. They don't clean the forests or the deadfall, won't even allow civilians to clear it out and collect it. So where is all this money going if it's not going for rebuilding, not going for fire prevention? I will give you two guesses but I bet you get it on the first try. This process has been repeated, time and time again. No where in the world does fires happen this often.

I live in the mountains near Lake Tahoe in Reno. We were downwind of all those big fires, Park included. It gets so bad, even with all the windows shut, the smell inside the house is intense. It’s everywhere. In the car vents, walking around outside becomes unbearable. The visibility gets drastically reduced. Even before we know what is officially burning we always joke, “Oh. Great. It’s fire season. California must be on fire - AGAIN!” It makes me so mad that they refuse to clean up the forests! Whenever we drive around there, we always see tons of dead trees - you’re not allowed to remove! The state doesn’t take them down. And private citizens are not allowed to, either. Which I guess I understand. I guess you need to pay for permits for this, or something? But either way, they just stand there, waiting for the next fire season to fuel the inevitable, next biggest fire in California’s history.

So does California not do controlled burns?

Arsonists cause so much ongoing & irreversible Damage, because, later, surviving people & animals come down with sicknesses & diseases, from all the toxicity created by the fires.. We should know; my friends & I were Mandatory Fire Evacuees in the past.. Our pets especially were affected, & died from cancer, etc... & My friend got cancer & thankfully survived it!! Can you imagine the dude that started this fire just sitting in jail watching the charges compound and compound then you realize it’s not even over yet. 45% contain and 55% getting ready to tack on more time. Just wow.

I live in cohasset and fought the fire. I saved my home. Ive had lots of strange experiences up in the wilderness as well. Love the vids rusty

My brother's cabin in Mill Creek was saved by Cal Fire and their heroic efforts and those of their partner agencies. It was a a rel nail biter there for a few days.
